Today (Wednesday) was my day off, and I decided to make a fun random trip out to Gibsons (on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia) to see my friend Coho who just moved out there from Vancouver.

The day started out with me sleeping in and missing the 9:20am ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale Terminal (near Gibsons), I then bussed as fast as I could to catch the 11:20am ferry, but our bus driver doddled around so slowly that I missed my ferry by 3 minutes! and I had to wait around for 2 hours until the 1:20pm came around. I got to Gibsons and met my friend Coho at Molly's Reach, a great restaurant that was featured in the classic Canadian show The Beachcombers.

We ordered clam chowder and halibut fish & chips which was the best lunch that I have had in a very long time!

After lunch we wandered around Gibsons, checked out the boat landing,
that swell.

Out came the hackeysack! silly me let Coho have the camera,
of course she got some wicked snaps of me.
I also swam with the salmon, oh yeah.
With only an hour or so left, we both decided that it was time to cap off the fun day with some gelato from a funky little gelato shop in Gibsons Landing. We met this really sweet girl who works there named Tiffany, she also happens to go to the same school that Coho will be starting at tomorrow,
super chill, super cute = super awesome.

After that, I made my way to the ferry and sailed off into the sunset, back to Vancouver.

(I'm crushing your mountains)
